Job Summary:
To coordinate, plan, organize, develop and maintain enterprise grid applications that are used by employees and in support of employees and members in a manner to provide affordable, reliable, safe electricity and outstanding member service.

Job Requirements:

  • Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in computer science, electrical engineering or related field is required.
  • Four (4) years of experience maintaining smart grid related enterprise systems used to monitor and operate a distribution electrical network preferred, as well as two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have experience in requirements gathering, logical workflow planning and systematic problem solving.
  • Must be knowledgeable in grid operation concepts, including switching, volt/var control, and FLISR to support grid reliability, safety, and security.
  • Prefer deep understanding of NIST SP 800-82 guidelines and NERC CIP framework.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to participate in on-the-job training.
