Job Summary:

To provide engineering services to the Distribution Asset Engineer and the Engineering Department, as required, that will, through maximum confidence and quality of job performance, contribute to the efforts in obtaining the Engineering Department’s objectives and to promote a smooth and coordinated flow of department engineering material within the department and with other departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).
  • Four-year degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university.
  • Reclassification to the second level requires at least one (1) year in the Asset Designer position, satisfactory job performance, and successful completion of all required training.
  • Reclassification to the third level of the position requires at least two (2) years at the second level, satisfactory job performance, successful completion of all required training, and recommendation of supervisor.
  • To move to the final level, employee must demonstrate the ability to independently manage all of the complexities of any type of project related to the position. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience related to this work and recommendation of supervisor is required.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
