The new 161kV Substation in Taylor, Mississippi, designed for our long-term client, Northeast Mississippi Electric Power Association, involved Fisher Arnold’s Electrical, Structural and Landscape Architecture departments. Built to replace the old 46/13kV substation with more reliable 161kV transmission fed directly from the Tennessee Valley Authority, the new substation was placed in service in 2020.

Our multi-disciplined staff includes engineers, architects, planners, landscape architects, environmental scientists, surveyors, engineering technicians, CADD technicians and construction observers. Fisher Arnold is headquartered in Memphis, TN and has offices in Birmingham AL, Jonesboro AR, Chipley FL, Chattanooga and Nashville TN, and Houston TX.

Fisher Arnold is committed to client satisfaction and strives to provide accurate information and expertise to meet the growing need for specialized engineering services. Our goal is to create sound-cost-effective solutions.
