TECA is hosting our second Cooperative Mutual Aid Assistance Program training workshop. This class that will be conducted by our partners with the EPA of Mississippi who developed the program. The goal of this program is to A) simplify and track the request for crews and equipment in mutual aid situations B) easily keep up with and send a running report of who the crews are (name, contact phone number, position), what cooperative they are with, what equipment they will be bringing and where they are traveling to and C) provide a time stamp of when the crews were requested, dispatched and when they were released to help with FEMA records.
All attendees will need to bring some type of computer or tablet. Please also bring the following: the name or names of your cooperative staff that will be administrators of the program, a list of about 10 employee names (or more) from your cooperative, the identifying number of two buckets trucks, two digger derricks and a pick-up (on the buckets we need how tall they are and on pick-ups we need the tonnage.) and the addresses (headquarters and districts) and contact names of each cooperative. This will allow us to input real information into the program while training and hopefully save you some time later when entering the rest of your cooperatives data.
